We’re a family of four living in San Diego, California, with a deep love for the ocean, travel, and an adventurous life.

Maresia started more than a decade ago in our backyard, where I would spend my days and nights creating jewelry by hand. What began as a creative passion slowly grew through farmers’ markets and street fairs across California, eventually becoming the online shop and community Maresia is today.

The ocean has always been a big part of our story. My husband and I have always loved surfing and traveling, and now we get to experience that lifestyle through the eyes of our two boys too. Our days are often filled with surfboards, skateboards, baseball games, sandy feet, road trips, and new adventures.

Traveling as a family is one of our greatest inspirations. We love discovering new beaches, cultures, people, and places around the world. Over the years, those experiences have also introduced us to incredibly talented artisans and inspired many of the textures, stones, colors, and effortless coastal feeling you see throughout Maresia.

For us, Maresia has never been just about jewelry. It represents a way of life, pieces made to be worn on ordinary days and unforgettable adventures, from mornings by the ocean to trips across the world.

As our family and business have grown, giving back has become an even bigger part of our story. We continue supporting projects close to our hearts, including our longtime tradition of helping families and children in Brazil and our work with Love and Care for All in Uganda, Africa.

We’re incredibly grateful that something that began at home has allowed us to create, travel, meet wonderful people, support talented makers, and give back along the way.
