It's a little loose but in summer my fingers are bigger than the cold day I received it. It is a perfect size stone for my finger and the setting and band are very attractive. It's what I wanted- something I can wear every day with any outfit or outing. Maybe not while gardening but I don't wear any jewelry when gardening so there you go.
