(1) The ring looks better than the picture. This stone has that great blue simmer in a icy white stone. It's that combination in a moon stone we all love. Beyond that the moon stone has a very nice carved leaf/leafs in its surface. No ruff edges, nice polish, in a finished stone.
(2) The setting in it's simplicity, lets the stone be the focus. Setting is simple with small clean details. Not gaudy with over the top bling, that looks too busy and distracts from the stones beauty. This is a balanced setting designed to display the stone.
